After looking through the photos I see fret markers are making a slow comeback. And I am surprised to see pick guards are loosing favor. I suppose some of the guitars have clear guards but I'd guess most have a urethane finish with no guards.

A huge thank you to all of you who were exhibitors at Healdsburg. It was very inspirational for me to see so much craftsmanship, innovation and just outstandingly beautiful looking and sounding instruments in one place. It was educational also. The seminars were top notch, the workshops great and everyone I talked to out on the floor was friendly and open (even near the end of the very long days on their feet and in the public).
